Kids Fun Runs
Do your kids wonder why you’re always going out early in the morning to run with your friends? Or what the big deal is about a “PR” ? Do you want to let your kids share the excitement of a big race?
At Pike’s Peek you can! Back by popular demand, kids can be a part of race day with the Kids Fun Runs! Our popular kids event features a Kids Fun Run (about 1/4 mile) and a 50-meter Toddler Trot, both in the finish area at Pike & Rose.
Register online now and save. We strongly recommend registering before the race. Limited on-site registration will be available on race day.
Race Schedule
- 8:00 to 9:15 AM – Race day packet pick up and late registration for the Fun Run and Toddler Trot.
- 9:15 AM - Warm-up
- 9:30-9:45 AM - 50 Meter Toddler Trot heats (start on Rose Avenue) as follows:
- Under age 3 heat
- Ages 3 and 4 heat
- Ages 5 and older heat
Parents may run with children in the toddler trot races. Do not block other participants. If there are a large number of participants, multiple heats within an age group will be run.
9:45 AM - Kids Fun Run – 1/4 Mile Run beginning on southbound 355 as follows:
- Ages 9 and older (including adults) heat
- Ages 6 to 8 heat
- Ages 3 to 5 heat
Registered adults may run with their children in any heat.
All kids run participants should meet at Rose Park (in front of L.L. Bean). Volunteers will lead participants to the start of each race.
